Some Bad News

Hi everyone. So, I have some bad new for you all. Lately I haven't been into model horses very much and haven't been very interested in the hobby. So I have decided to take a break from the hobby and from blogging for a few months or years. I am really sorry. I might come back to the hobby in a few years. Thank you for all reading my blog, it means so much to me. Good bye everyone, I will miss you all. :( (I will try and post a life update every once and a while :) )

Sorry for the lack of updates, I haven't really had time to do anything with my models since February because I have been really busy with school, work, volunteering, and horseback riding. I will try to post once a week but might only be able to post once a month until June. I am done with school in June and should be able to post more regularly during the summer. Fun with Lead Ropes

Hi everyone! Today I made some lead ropes for my model horses. I am pretty happy with how they turned out, and I think that they look fairly realistic. Here they are! :)

New Model Horse Tack

Hi everyone! Today I made some new model horse tack. The first item I made was this lime green rope halter. The rope is a little thicker then I would have liked but it was the only rope I had on hand.

The second item I made was a pink rope halter.

Then the last item I made was this lilac halter and lead rope. I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

New Models

Hi everyone! Today I was at the tack store and I saw these really cute stablemates and just had to buy them. Here they are! The first horse I bought was this cute paint saddle bred mare. Her name is Clockwork Princess.

 The next horse I bought was this really cute roan mustang. I absolutely love this mold and his colouring. I highly recommend him. His name is Rivet.

Then the last horse I got was this really cute highland pony. I decided to call him Donnis after a highland pony in the book Outlander (I am currently obsessed with Outlander).

Studio Update!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I have been really busy studying for exams but exams are done this week so I should be back to a regular posting schedule next week. Anyways, lets move on to the post. I haven't been able to make very much tack since I haven't had a lot of spare time on my hands lately, so I have made a few little projects here and there. The first thing I made was a flower box for my hunter jump. I am really happy with how this turned out and I might post a tutorial on it if anyone is interested.

 Then the next thing I made was this pony saddle. It is my first try at making a saddle so I don't think it looks that bad but it doesn't look that great. It still needs a few finishing touches, but overall I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

 Then the last tack item I made was a dressage pad. I am very happy with how this turned out and I think I am going to attempt to make a matching bonnet to go with it!

Update!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that for the month of January I will only be able to post once a week because I will be very busy studying for exams.
